Hi, I am Oliver

AN INTRODUCTION

I am a storyteller, director, and animation supervisor with over 25 years of experience shaping narratives for feature films, TV series, and games. My career began at Walt Disney Feature Animation and evolved through high-profile roles at Lucasfilm, Cartoon Network, Netflix and leading studios across Europe, Asia, and North America.

From storyboarding to story supervision and directing, I bring a hands-on understanding of the entire creative pipeline. I specialise in visual storytelling, character-driven narrative and animation supervision, ensuring that each project connects emotionally with audiences while meeting the highest artistic and production standards.

Beyond production, I have designed and led world-class training programs at Lucasfilm Singapore and the Cartoon Network Animation Academy Abu Dhabi, mentoring the next generation of artists. I also share my expertise through international workshops, masterclasses, and festival juries, including Siggraph Asia and CAAC, China’s largest animation festival.

My passion lies in guiding stories from concept to screen, whether as a story artist, supervisor, director, or animation lead and collaborating with global teams to bring bold, unforgettable worlds to life.

WORK SAMPLES

A young Irish boy named Keegan and his Spanish friend named Moya journey into a magical world of the Megaloceros Giganteus who teach them to appreciate Riverdance as a celebration of life. Inspired by the global stage sensation and with new music by Grammy winner Bill Whelan, this is an animated adventure of sight, sound and dance as you’ve never before experienced.

Leila is a lonely 17-year-old girl whose mother has just died. She is addicted to a fictional virtual reality online gaming site called Azana. There, she makes contact with Mania, a mysterious player who watches her. In the real world, Leila is forced to get a roommate and a job in order to pay bills.

The film will tell the story of a 12-year-old girl Madalena who has lost her faith but is helped by her brother and the sudden appearance of another boy and girl. Fatima is inspired by Three Secrets of Fatima, a series of apocalyptic visions and prophecies supposedly told to three young Portuguese shepherds.
